Regular checking of your blood sugar levels can give you accurate information of what’s normal and what’s not. Before you do a blood sugar check, make sure that your hands are properly washed and dried. After which, prick the side of a fingertip with a sterile lancet that comes with your blood glucose test kit. Dot the blood on the test strip and then slip it on the meter, following the instructions to get an accurate reading. Record your results in a notebook, save it on your meter’s memory, or simply download them on your computer for your reference.
